Ride Modes & App
Tune, Shuttle and Auto Mode
Specialized's description, not Ben's findings.
The Specialized app lets you tune motor support, acceleration and top speed. Specialized also describes a Shuttle Mode, which brings the motor to full power faster with less pedalling, and an Auto Mode that adjusts support from your speed, cadence and effort.
Specialized's page doesn't print an assist cut-off speed or an e-bike class for the Vado 3. Check the label on the bike before you buy if class matters where you ride.

Plan Your Ride
Your Range, Not Specialized's
This is the site's physics model, not a Specialized figure. Specialized claims up to 150 km (about 93 miles). The speed slider tops out at 28 mph as a modelling ceiling, because Specialized doesn't state the assist limit.
