Ben's Take
The TrailRush is the one Ride1Up that's built to leave the pavement and mean it. A Brose mid-drive with 90Nm, a 120mm RockShox Judy air fork, a Shimano Deore 10-speed and Maxxis Minion 29ers is a legitimate trail hardtail spec — the kind of parts list you'd expect on a bike costing considerably more than $1,995. The torque-sensed mid-drive keeps traction on climbs, the quad-piston brakes handle the descents, and at 57–58 lbs it's light enough to actually enjoy on singletrack. The 504Wh battery is the limiter for big backcountry days, but for a first proper eMTB at this price it's hard to argue with. Full ride review to come.
