The Bike Cave Verdict

Ben's Take

The XPeak2 is Lectric's most convincing off-road bike yet. The RST Renegade fork, a 203mm front rotor, 26 × 4" knobby tires and a torque sensor add up to a genuine trail machine rather than a fat-tire cruiser wearing knobbies — and the 750W/1310W hub with 85Nm has the muscle to climb. A Men's Health 'Best of Sweat' nod and eMTB-grade safety testing back it up, and High-Step or Step-Thru frames make it approachable. From $1,399 with a 720Wh battery and up to 60 miles, it's a lot of adventure bike for the money. Full trail review to come.

👍 What stands out

  • Real off-road kit: RST Renegade fork, 203mm rotor, 26×4" knobbies
  • Torque sensor makes technical climbs feel controlled
  • Strong 750W / 1310W hub with 85Nm and Class-3 speed
  • High-Step and Step-Thru frames for different riders
  • Award-winning and eMTB safety-tested from $1,399

👎 What to know

  • Not yet reviewed on camera — verdict and score to come
  • 64.5 lbs before the battery — heavy on tight, technical trails
  • Hardtail — no rear suspension for the roughest terrain
  • Big range needs the long-range battery upgrade
