Stills from Ben's footageThe Angle
8,000 Watts, 198 Pounds

Power & Speed
72V, 8,000W and three speed modes.
51 mph Measured, 56 Claimed
In mode 3, with Ben at about 200 lbs, GPS read 51 mph. KOOZ's own number is 56. Mode 1 stopped at 28 mph and mode 2 at about 40.
The Front Wheel Lifts Itself
On the hill climb in mode 3 the bike held 39 to 40 mph uphill and the front wheel came up on its own. Mode 1 lifts it too. A second climb with two battery bars left still held 38 mph.
Not an E-Bike
No pedals, 18 and up, off-road only. KOOZ does not publish a torque figure or a rated-versus-peak split for the 8,000W motor.

The Weight Limit
KOOZ says 198 lbs. Ben is about 200.
Ridden Over the Limit
Ben is about 200 lbs, just over KOOZ's stated rider maximum, and he rode the whole review at that weight. He found the suspension a bit soft at that weight, so heavier riders should read this section twice. In his words: “I’m close to 200 pounds and the suspension does feel a little bit soft.”
Hydraulic Suspension, Both Ends
Two front hydraulic shocks and one rear hydraulic spring shock. KOOZ does not publish travel figures. 13.2 inches of ground clearance.
Full-Size Wheels
70/100-19 front and 90/100-16 rear on a steel frame. The bike weighs 161 lbs, so it is a two-person lift out of the box.

Battery, Brakes & Range
72V 35Ah and hydraulic discs front and rear.
19 Miles, Pinned in Mode 3
Ben covered 19 miles in mode 3 with two bars left on the battery. KOOZ's claim is 50 miles at 25 mph, which is a cruising number. The pack is 72V 35Ah, about 2,520Wh, and takes 5 to 6 hours to charge from empty.
Brakes
Hydraulic discs front and rear. On camera Ben called out a 4-piston front caliper and a 2-piston rear. KOOZ does not publish rotor size or brand.
Tuning From Your Phone
KOOZ lists the controller parameters as tunable through an app over Bluetooth, no dongle needed.
Ride Modes
Three Modes, Measured on GPS
Mode 1 stops at 28 mph. Mode 3 is the full 51.
The HP131E has low, medium and high speed modes. Ben ran all three in his top speed test: mode 1 stopped at 28 mph, mode 2 at about 40, and mode 3 reached 51 mph on GPS. KOOZ claims 56 for the top mode.
A lower mode is also the easy way to cap the bike for a newer rider. Ben noted that mode 1 still lifts the front wheel, so a cap on speed is not a cap on how hard it pulls.

Not published by KOOZ and not tested on camera, so they are left off rather than guessed: motor and controller brands, rated versus peak power, rotor size, suspension travel, and whether the battery is removable. KOOZ lists a 1-year warranty. This is an off-road motorcycle, not a UL-certified e-bike, and KOOZ does not state a certification on its own product page.
The Bike Cave Verdict
The Short Version
The HP131E is a full-size, 72V, 8,000W dirt bike that starts at $2,349. In Ben's testing it hit 51 mph on GPS, climbed a hill at 39 to 40 mph with the front wheel coming up on its own, and covered 19 miles pinned in mode 3. The catch is KOOZ's own 198 lb rider limit: Ben is about 200 lbs and found the suspension a bit soft at that weight.
In the video Ben says, “I was not expecting that amount of power.” On the price: “Wow, $2,400 for a 72-volt, 8,000-watt e-moto on 1619s.” On the suspension he says it is soft, “but it’s one of the best, cushiest, most controlled” he has felt.
Ben did not give the HP131E a Cave Score, so there is no number here.
