Kepler Dual Battery

The street-legal Kepler: the same weld-free frame, memory-foam saddle and 85–105-mile dual battery — locked to Class 3, 28 mph power so it's road-legal where Class 3 is allowed. All the range and comfort, none of the paperwork.

The Engineering

Built On Better Technology

52V 35Ah Dual Battery

52V 35Ah Dual Battery

20Ah + 15Ah · 1,820Wh

Two Packs, 85–105 Miles

A 20Ah pack and a 15Ah pack combine for 52V and 1,820Wh — a claimed 85–105 miles, one of the longest ranges in the fat-tire class. The screen shows both packs at once.

Charge Both At Once

Two 52V 3A chargers ship in the box, so you top up both batteries together and get back out.

Class 3, 28 mph

This street-legal version runs a 750W rear hub with 110 Nm, tuned to a road-legal 28 mph in pedal assist — no waiver required.

Weld-Free Hydroformed Frame

Weld-Free Hydroformed Frame

24″ fat · two-tone paint

Not A Single Visible Weld

The hydroformed aluminum frame is so clean there isn't a visible weld on it — a two-tone paint job with the color band through the middle. It genuinely looks like nothing else in the class.

24-Inch Fat Tires

Where most bikes here roll on 26 × 4, the Kepler drops to 24 × 4.0 puncture-resistant fat tires to lower the whole bike and keep it stable at stops.

Comfort Built In

A memory-foam saddle on a suspension seatpost and a double-crown fork soak up the bumps — this is a genuinely plush ride.

Smart Color Cockpit

Bright Full-Color Display

A large, high-contrast full-color display with Bluetooth and USB-C shows both batteries, speed, power and your Eco/Trail/Boost mode.

Torque + Cadence, Switchable

A CANBUS system lets you switch between torque and cadence sensing on the fly, and a removable twist throttle drops in when you want it.

Apple Find My + App

Apple Find My and the Ariel Rider app are built in, with OTA updates and UL 2849 + UL 2271 safety certification behind it.

Both Batteries On One Screen

Full-Color Display + App + Apple Find My

The Kepler's big full-color display shows both battery packs at once, plus speed, power and your Eco / Trail / Boost level — bright and pitch-black in contrast even in sun. Bluetooth and USB-C are built in.

A full left-hand remote covers pedal-assist, walk mode, turn signals, horn and lights, and an adjustable stem lets you swing the cockpit up to 60° for a more upright fit. Apple Find My and OTA updates come standard.

The 24-inch wheels and 27.5" standover keep the Kepler low and stable — at 5'9" you can get both feet down, just not flat-footed. It's a hardtail with a suspension seatpost, and in this trim it's locked to Class 3 (28 mph) so it's street-legal where Class 3 e-bikes are permitted. It weighs 118 lbs with both packs.

The Bike Cave Verdict

Ben's Take

This is the Kepler I'd point most people toward. It's the identical bike to the PPB — the weld-free frame, the memory-foam saddle on a suspension seatpost, the 35Ah dual battery good for 85 to 105 miles, torque-or-cadence sensing and the dual-battery display — but tuned to Class 3, so it tops out at a street-legal 28 mph in pedal assist. No waiver, no gray area: if your area allows Class 3 e-bikes, you can ride this everywhere a bike belongs. For a long-range adventure and commuting bike, that's exactly the right trade. Same $1,999, same two batteries, same comfort I raved about in the full review — just road-legal out of the box.

👍 What stands out

 • Street-legal Class 3 (28 mph) — ride it anywhere bikes go
 • 85–105 mi of range from the 35Ah dual battery
 • Weld-free frame + memory-foam saddle = a plush, premium ride
 • Torque + cadence switching and an adjustable-reach stem
 • MIK rack, full lighting and Apple Find My at $1,999

👎 What to know

 • Capped at 28 mph — want more, look at the PPB
 • Hardtail rear (suspension seatpost only)
 • 118 lbs with both packs — heavy to lift
 • At its best on pavement and light trail, not big off-road
