The Dirt Goat 96V V3
A true off-road e-dirtbike — a 96V Samsung pack feeding a mid-drive motor that peaks over 15,000W, with KKE inverted forks and 4-piston XOD brakes. No VIN, no plates: private property and trails only.

What Makes the Dirt Goat 96V V3 Special

Motor & Controller
Jinyuxing mid-drive on a Lingbo controller.
6,000W rated, 15,000W peak
A mid-drive layout puts the power through the chain rather than a hub motor, which is why it can pull 465 Nm at the crank and climb like a dirt bike.
Lingbo 96V 120A controller
The controller caps current at 120A, and Goat quotes speeds up to 65 MPH tested with a 100 lb rider — heavier riders will see less.
Hall-sensor throttle
A hall-effect throttle rather than a cheap potentiometer, which holds calibration better over time.

Suspension & Brakes
KKE suspension, XOD brakes.
KKE 203mm inverted front fork
Inverted forks put the larger stanchion at the triple clamp, which is stiffer under braking than a conventional fork.
KKE 85mm rear hydraulic shock
Paired with the 6061 reinforced aluminum frame for real jump and trail duty.
XOD 4-piston hydraulic brakes
220mm rotors front and rear — sized for a bike that can reach highway speeds.

Battery & Charging
96V 50Ah Samsung pack.
96V 50Ah, charges to 101V
Samsung cells, roughly a four-hour charge from empty.
Four levels of regen braking
Regeneration is adjustable, so you can dial in how much the bike slows when you roll off.
40–75 miles
75 miles is the low-speed figure; expect around 40 if you ride it hard.

The Bike Cave Verdict
Ben's Take
The Dirt Goat is the most serious machine Goat Power Bikes builds — a 96V mid-drive with a 50Ah Samsung pack, inverted KKE forks and 220mm four-piston brakes. On paper that is a proper electric dirt bike rather than an e-bike with knobby tires, and the price reflects it. Worth being clear about what you are buying: no VIN, no plates, no street use. I haven't ridden this one on camera yet, so treat the speed and range figures as Goat's numbers rather than mine.
👍 What stands out
- 96V 50Ah Samsung pack — 15,000W peak from a mid-drive
- 465 Nm at the crank, rated to 650 Nm on V3
- KKE inverted forks and 85mm rear shock
- XOD 4-piston brakes on 220mm rotors
- Four levels of adjustable regen
👎 What to know
- Not yet reviewed on camera — figures are claims
- Off-road only: no VIN, no plates, no bike lanes
- 80 mph is a claim; 65 mph was tested with a 100 lb rider
- At $5,499 it is priced like a dirt bike, not an e-bike
